BodyGuarding SA is the specialist Close Protection Division of the Symbiotix Group. Our Close Protection service is all about safe-guarding people, with Close Protection Officers keeping clients safe from the unwanted attentions of anyone, from criminals and the unstable, to autograph hunters and those who are simply intent on nuisance making. Much of close protection scope of work involves threat assessments and planning. In his famous work, ”The Art of War”, Sun Tzu said, “To fight and conquer in all your battles is not supreme excellence; supreme excellence consists of breaking the enemy’s resistance without fighting him” – Herein lays our close protection mantra: “Prevention is Better than Cure”. In order to achieve this and thereby provide an effective Personal Protection Program, our Close Protection Unit employs a three-phased approach. Evaluation of the physical environment in which the principal could be exposed to risks. Identification of the threats to which the principal may be exposed. Implementation of multi-layered interventions for the effective management of these risks and threats.
